CodeGeeko, a coding platform for children between ages 7 to 16 years. They learn aspects of coding through a gamification process, which ensures we bring in an element of fun in learning. We introduce children to computer programming languages like Python, JavaScript and HTML in a way that is not too daunting for the young minds to grasp
Life Values
We at CodeGeeko have made it a pursuit to not only engage in analytical thinking but aim to draw attention to the softer, interpersonal traits too. We encourage children to partake in the coding process with attention to life skills such as showing respect, being empathetic and helping each other succeed. Lessons of caring, happiness, teamwork and self-exploration are important offshoots in this process of learning.

We aim to add the elements of leadership training, Startup CXO’s, for children above 13 years and bring in mindfulness experts to create an integrated environment for growth

We run intra-country programming sessions where different students from different countries works in team to solve the use cases that enables them to understand each other perspectives and thinking process

Thank you for stopping by! We are pleased to bring in a new way of teaching technology to kids. Technological advancements have made life easier, increased connectivity and helped societies evolve and move towards higher levels of global progress. Virtually every facet of daily life is touched by technology in one form or another. Using it in the right way is of paramount importance and more so when it can alter human behaviour and adaptive mechanisms. Educational resources are more easily available and accessible now than they were before.
Story of CodeGeeko
Looking at how technology is fast becoming a necessity for everyone, using it in the right sense is also an equally important part, I wondered if we could teach basic foundational coding in a way that could also serve the society at large. As much as there are positive impacts, technology has also brought with it a few downsides. Compared to the previous generations, kids and young adults are now facing far more exposure to technology and use it more extensively almost every single waking hour of their life. Information overload, over exposure to EMFs (Electromagnetic radiation) has adversely impacted their attention span, tolerance levels and aggressive and impulsive behaviours have seen an increase over the years.
Getting together with academicians, scientists, and mindfulness experts, I recognized there could be a way forward to use the same technology in a way that could enhance cognitive development in kids. Just in here was the beginning of CodeGeeko!
My twin children were my first volunteers with this venture, initially by learning text-based coding through instructor lead sessions. We observed that these lessons were adding tremendous value to their confidence levels, gaining perspectives and in understanding complex concepts.
As much as this is about providing training in coding, it has also become my objective to incorporate life lessons within it. Each of our teachers and program coordinators are trained in ‘CodeGeeko methods’ of teaching computer coding through a gamified process to bring in an element of fun and provide them a head start in learning concepts through a simplified practice.
Let the fun ride begin
CodeGeeko is for any kid between ages 8 to 16. We teach Real text-based coding, and they will have hands-on coding experience using popular languages like Python and JavaScript. We also promote soft skills like caring, helping each other succeed, working in a team and building resilience as part of our sessions. We are currently operating in six countries across the world in India, USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, and Australia.
